Challenge

Flock Image was instructed to commission a resin topping for the newly constructed facility for Lufthansa Technik. This project enables Lufthansa to continue providing high-quality aircraft maintenance for narrow bodied planes such as the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 as well as long-haul aircrafts from the Airbus A330/A340 family.

Solution

Following the success the Hammerflow system already had at various industrial sites around the Maltese Islands, it was an obvious choice for these new hangars.

Hammerflow is a budget friendly, hard wearing epoxy resin system which is also aesthetically pleasing and highly chemical resistant including resistance to Skydrol. Hammerflow is safe for foot, vehicular and heavy-load traffic, durable, easy to clean and maintain, and structurally sound.

A version of Hammerflow, Hammerflow Mk1, was installed at Lufthansa Technik’s new hangar facility. Mk1 is a pigmented multi-layered resin system with excellent durability and proven track record.
