Challenge
Flock Image was asked to supply and apply a clear sealer coating for the walls of the server rooms on a budget for this newly built hotel. The coating would serve as a protection for the walls and columns as well as to prevent the same surfaces from producing dust which could harm the sensitive equipment being installed.
Solution
Radcon 7 was used for this project. This clear sealer coating was easily sprayed onto the required areas thus sealing the surfaces and preventing them from dusting.
Radcon 7 is a biochemically modified silicate solution that provides long-term waterproofing and durability benefits to concrete. It penetrates into the concrete and reacts with free calcium and water to form a calcium silicate gel complex in cracks pores and capillaries. This gel creates a sub-surface barrier against the ingress of water and contaminants such as chloride ions.
